Learning from the Past: latest project meeting in Slovenia

13/12/2019

Project coordinators from the seven partner countries involved in our Erasmus+ Learning from the Past (LFTP) met last week in Trbovlje, Slovenia, to review progress and plan the final stages of the project.

Colleagues at MCT gave us a warm welcome as meeting hosts, introducing us to the wide-ranging work of their youth organisation as well as the industrial, political and cultural heritage of their city.

During the two day meeting the LFTP coordinators shared information about the events we have held in each country to launch our joint peace heritage map. The team then discussed further plans for our arts engagement with young people and the ‘Living Museums’ we will hold next year in each partner country to share the different project outputs with the wider community and invite audiences across Europe to reflect on their own ideas about peace.

These events will culminate in an exciting final exhibition at Lancaster City Museum in summer 2020 which will bring together work from all the countries and volunteers taking part in the project. Watch this space for more information next year!
