Led by Anthony Finnerty of Global Link (RE teacher of 30 years), the course is designed for KS2 & KS3 teachers of Religious Education.
The course will emphasise the need to cultivate in young people a vision of global citizenship which is validated by world faiths.
Also, it will enable teachers to deepen the experience of young people as they look at conflicts involving religious groups around the world, and increase the familiarity teachers have with key texts and teachings in three major world religions relating to global citizenship.
‘Let us pick up our books and our pens... They are our most powerful weapons. One child, one teacher, one book, one pen can change the world.’ Malala Yousafzai
