Learning from the Past meeting in Germany
The LFTP team has just held a really useful project meeting hosted by our partners from JKA in Oldenburg.
On 3-4 June the eight partners involved in the Erasmus+ Learning from the Past project came together to map the research conducted so far by our heritage volunteers and plan the next stage of the project.
Participants have discovered a fascinating and diverse range of stories about people, organisations and events from the interwar years that explore our themes of peace and internationalism from a range of perspectives.
The next step is to share this research with young people in each of our countries and invite them to respond to their learning through art. JKA staff showed us a range of theatre
approaches that can be used to explore issues and ideas and we experimented with applying these to our research and thinking about other arts and critical thinking methods we could use. We're excited to see what the young people create through this process!
Our next project meeting will be in Slovenia in December when we will think about how to put the research map and artistic outputs together into a series of 'Living Museums' across all the partner countries.
