- To introduce teachers to the key concepts, skills and values of global learning and to reflect critically on the implications of this for teaching and learning in the arts curriculum.
- To develop practical ideas and approaches that embed global education in Music, Dance, Drama and Art activities in the classroom.
The Global Learning Programme is a ground-breaking new government initiative to create a national network of schools, committed to helping students make positive contributions to a globalised world by helping teachers deliver effective teaching and learning about development and global issues at Key Stages 2 and 3.
