Sustainable development – for students with SLD’s (CD-Rom)
This CD-Rom contains a course in sustainable development for students of 16+ with moderate to severe learning difficulties. It focuses on waste, waste reduction and recycling and allows students to engage with sustainable development in a very concrete way.
Vivid, hands-on, experiences are used to engage students, using age-appropriate materials where needed.
Students can record their learning through differentiated work sheets. Sensory activities allow for inclusion of students with Profound Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD).
The pack includes lesson plans and all printable materials to run a 12 week course. These materials have been successfully trialled in special schools. A companion CD-Rom is available on Diversity.
Please note – The CD is designed for use with systems running a version of Microsoft Windows. However, its contents should be accessible through non Microsoft Windows based systems with a modern Web Browser installed.
