Projects
Along with our regular activities, Global Link is currently delivering the following funded projects. These often include opportunities for schools and community groups to get involved.
Documenting Dissent
Documenting Dissent is a community digital history project documenting political and religious dissent in Lancaster. This project will work with 10 school and community groups to research and document the history of religious and political dissent in Lancaster, particularly in relation to the Castle. This will include accessing original archive material, learning from local historians, and gathering other research material such as oral histories.
EU IntegrArt
IntegrArt is a project funded by the European Union Grundtvig-Leonardo Partnership. The project is co-ordinated by Anthropolis, a Hungarian NGO, and includes partners from Turkey, Italy, Germany, and the UK (Global Link).
Fairtrade Schools
Global Link has funding to support teachers, pupils, University of Cumbria tutors and trainee teachers to promote Fairtrade activities in schools.

- Free fairtrade award support to lancaster primary schools
Global Artist Network
Supported by the Arts Council, Global Link has set up a directory of artists whose work focuses specifically on the global dimension for schools and who have roots or links to the Global South (Africa, Asia and Latin America). Aimed at schools in the North West of England, the directory links schools with artists and supports workshops with information and funding.
