Learning from the Past peace heritage exhibition

The ongoing Covid crisis means that our final Erasmus+ project exhibition at Lancaster City Museum has been postponed for now – but the good news is that, in partnership with the Museum, we will be launching a virtual version of the exhibition on the Learning from the Past website on 25 February 2021!

The LFTP exhibition will bring together all our project outputs – from stories researched by our adult volunteers to arts work created by young people in response. You can also find out more about how this project has inspired communities across Europe to engage with ideas of peace and internationalism and read messages from people in the partner countries.

With the kind support of local museums, archives and other organisations, the exhibition will feature a range of digitally displayed historical exhibits such as period posters, photographs and archive documents. The whole exhibition will be framed by a specially created ‘peace timeline,’ developed by students from Lancaster Royal Grammar School.

Check the Learning from the Past website for updates and to find out about the special zoom launch event taking place at 18:30 GMT on 25 February.
